- Only one (1) rebate request per service address.
- Rebate Application and Invoice must be received within 30 days of completion of installation.
- OG&E is not responsible for inaccurate information.
- Funding for this program is limited to funds availability.
- This program is available only to OG&E Arkansas customers who own or rent a permanent foundation single family home.
- Multi-family structures qualify for this rebate, however participation must be approved by the program prior to installation.
- Program is available only to retrofit (existing) homes built with electric air conditioning.
- Program excludes new home residential construction, garages, sheds, workshops, basement and doors.
- An approved, Building Performance Institute (BPI) certified program contractor must complete duct and air sealing installation using proper diagnostic techniques and equipment, including Duct Blaster and Blower Door.
- Duct Sealing testing must be completed using the leakage to outside methodology.
- Existing duct leakage conditions must be greater than or equal to 80 CFM25, but less than 40% total fan flow (HVAC tonnage x 400 CFM).
- Duct leakage must be reduced by 25% or greater in order to qualify for a rebate
- Existing home leakage cannot exceed the pre-retrofit infiltration cap shown in table below.

Air sealing installations must comply with the prevailing Arkansas mechanical code, which establishes a minimum ventilation rate (MVR) as shown in chart below.

Air sealing leakage must be reduced by 15% or greater to qualify for a rebate.
Qualifying duct and air sealing must have an invoice dated between January 1 and October 31 of the program year. Completed rebate application and invoice must be submitted no later than 30 days after the insulation installation.
A valid invoice includes the installation date, services purchased, duct and air sealing, price and payment made in full. The duct and air sealing invoice must also specify all required information, including the customer name, address of installation, phone number, contractor name, business name, address and phone number. All information on the invoice must match the information on the rebate application or the application will not be processed.Failure to complete all information will result in denial of rebate.
